the blood on this page was done by hand... it was done with scarlet red speedball pigmented acrylic ink and a few droplets of green to darken it up. if you wanna create blood on paper, the speedball ink is the way to go for sure. i've tried a bunch of other red inks and none of them look as close to real blood as the speedball ink.
most of the red blood on the past pages were done on the computer tho... it's easy to tell which, because the red is a solid mass of red without any variation in color

hey, i always wondered. how do you get that blood effect? is it digital or hand painted?
